While we were taking a drive today we ran into this beautiful look-out point.
Jayce and her little assistant like to stack cups.
Jayce has really bad allergies almost every night.
Jayce is missing 7 teeth right now.  She's still a cutie!
These are Claire's favorite pajamas.  When she wears them she says, "I cute."  She tries to kiss the princesses.
My little blue eyed girl.  Blake thinks she is part ginger.

We got to have Brooksy visit us for 2 weeks.  He would never let me take a good picture of him.  We had a lot of fun hanging out with him.

Claire Bear's favorite activity is to put on as many of my clothes as she possibly can.
We've been so lucky this summer to have some fun company.  Ryan, Emily, Cassie, Clark, and Brent also came to Colorado to see us.
We pushed the twin beds together and let the kids sleep together.  Cassie and Clark loved Footis, but they were afraid to sleep with him.  He usually sleeps with Jayce every night, but they wanted him to sleep outside.  He came on the bed after they fell asleep, and when they woke up with him on the bed they thought it was so funny.
We went to Garden of the Gods.

All of the kids wanted to help Jayce with the dishes.

We had a lot of fun at the aircraft museum.

While we were looking at the airplanes outside, we saw a rabbit and three tiny baby rabbits.  They were so cute!
I cut Claire Bear's bangs, and I accidentally cut way too much.
I try to let Jayce choose her school clothes now, because she hates everything I choose.  I was shocked when she chose these jeans.
Jayce got some really cool new rocks.  She got a Mexican geode, copper ore, she found the obsidian and rose quartz.  She is really into her rock collection now.

More Wildlife and Lucky Horseshoes

Last night we found our cat playing with a scorpion in our house.  I don't know if he brought it in, and I don't really want to think about it.  Jayce heard Footis hissing and went over to check it out and screamed, "SCORPION!"  I don't know if it stung Footis, but he was acting really nervous for a while after.  Jayce picked him up and held him on her lap and he started hissing at her hair and nipped her in the back.  The whole thing has really freaked us all out.  Then today we found another scorpion in the garage.  After the snake incident I think Blake will finally let me get pest control.
I killed the scorpion with the broom after I ran around screaming for a while.  It was pretty tiny, and the kind we have here aren't deadly.  They just hurt bad when they sting you.
I hung my horseshoe that Poppy gave me over my bedroom door for good luck.  Actually, I don't believe in stuff like that, it's mostly just to remind me of Poppy.
It turns out if the ends are pointing down you get bad luck...
This girl can fall asleep anywhere in some weird positions.
