Pictures!

I finally have some new pictures for the blog (thanks to Granny for letting me borrow her camera)!

Claire Bear has taken her first steps a couple weeks ago.  Now she is up to about 10 steps.  She has really good balance and has been standing for a couple months now.

She has 3 teeth.  I have been trying to get a picture with her teeth, but I can't get them to show.

This is a reenactment of the fist day of second grade.  She wore her favorite shirt that she picked out at Justice.

Jayce had a lot of fun sleepovers with Abby this summer.

Needless to say, Jayce is winning the original hair contest between her and Abby.  Abby's hair is really cute, though.
Jayce has been doing chores for Grandma G. this summer to earn some money.   She finally saved up enough  to buy Woody.  It had to be the $35 one with a pull-string, which I think was a huge rip-off.
Jayce told me my nose is as sharp as Woody's and that I could stab someone with it.  Little brat!

Still no camera/ Boring, wordy post with no pictures

I am so sad that I don't have a camera.  I am missing out on taking pictures of Claire's cute milestones and my girls' cuteness in general.  If anybody runs into Blake tell him to get me a new camera please!

I figure I better post some of Claire's latest accomplishments and Jayce stories because I haven't posted in so long.

Claire Bear:

Claire has grown and changed so much!  She is 10 months old now and she is so sweet, cute, and funny!  She is very loving.  She will lay her head on Blake, Jayce, and I- even Grandma and Granny.  She gives softies, kisses, and bonks foreheads.  She claps her hands when we sing "If You're Happy and You Know It".  She plays peek-a-boo with a blanket.  She loves dancing.  Her favorite music is Mario Bros. on the Wii.

Her hair is finally growing!  She still has male pattern baldness, though.  She crawls really well and walks holding onto people.  She stands her self up and lets go and will still for 15 seconds all the time.  She will even clap for herself while she is standing.  She has really good balance and might be able to walk if she tried.  Not that I am pushing for that!

She has started saying a few words.  She says mama, DAD!, Jayce (Jeese), dog, and get it ("ge it" in a whisper).  She eats anything we give to her.  It is such a nice change from her sister.  She will eat until she throws up if we let her.  The last time we took her to the doctor she was 9 months and weighed 16.5 lbs.  I typed it in an online calculator and it said less than 5th percentile.  I think she must be short because she is still kind of chunky.

She has 2 teeth- one on top and one on bottom.  She grinds them together and it drives me crazy!  I will tell her no and she laughs at me.  She also takes off her flower headbands and laughs at me.  Hopefully she likes sparkly things and princesses when she is a little older so I can have fun with that!

Jaycie Poo:

Jayce has been having the best summer ever.  We bought a 30" deep pool that she has had a blast with.  She has had a lot of sleepovers with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She has been reading every day and is doing great with it.  She is taking summer gymnastics and is in level 3.  She is the youngest kid in her class and by far the smallest.  Her latest trick is falling back into a backbend and doing a kickover.

The latest thing Jayce has been very proud of and showing off is her six pack.  She was doing a crunch the other day and didn't know I was watching and she was counting her ab muscles out loud to make sure she really had a six pack.  She can do 50 push-ups boy style.  It's crazy how tough that scrawny little thing is!  Her hair is growing longer and, yes, she is winning the contest.

Jayce has been begging for an "outdoor/garage" cat all summer because she knows she will never be able to have a dog at our current house without a fence.  She is very allergic to cats, but she doesn't care.  She just has to convince her daddy.

I'm going to be sad for school to start again!  I've been having so much fun with these girls!
