Birthday Tribute to Mom

Happy Birthday Mom!

Friday is my mom's birthday. She is the best mom, grandma, and a wonderful person. Here are a few things about my mom that make her so special to our family.

1. She is so much fun to be around

2. She makes holidays and birthdays really special

3. She is an excellent seamstress. She used to make a lot of my clothes when I was little and they looked like they were from a department store.

4. She is excellent at crafts and very creative. She quilts, embroiders, does needle point, crochets, knits, and much more.

5. She is the most stylish person I know

6. She is beautiful!

7. Her eyes are golden like tigers eye

8. She was an optician for many years

9. She is an excellent salesperson. She has always been #1 in sales everywhere she has worked.

10. Very generous

11. Thoughtful

12. Always there for you in a crisis, or when you just need support

13. Worry wort!

14. Excellent cook. She is always trying new recipes.

15. Makes the tastiest desserts

16. She jumps up and down when somebody coughs because she thinks they are choking!
17. She walks 6 miles almost every day with Kevin

18. Terrific mother

19. Fantastic grandmother

20. Buys chocolate milk for her grandkids all the time

21. She has guessed the sex of all 7 of her grandkids (Jayce, Doran, Cassie, Brock, Clark, Emma, and my newest baby

22. Gets hotter with age

23. Hard worker

24. Her grandkids love to spend time with her and be tended by her and Kevin

25. Loves rollercoasters and scary rides

26. Has a 6 pack after having 4 children

27. Has tiny cute feet!

28. Spotless/ clean house

29. Very festive (always decorates cute for holidays, seasons, and parties)

30. She is a scout leader and her and Kevin are the head of the activities committee in their ward.

Happy Birthday Mom! I love you so much! You bring so much happiness to so many people's lives!

It's a girl!

On Friday Blake, Jayce, and I found out that we are having a baby girl! Jayce has changed the baby' name from Georgie to Rose. She was moving around like crazy during the ultrasound and the technician could not believe it. She even blew us kisses.

Here is the part that Blake sat down ... He kept asking the techinician to check again and make sure there wasn't anything she missed...

This is my favorite of all the pictures. I just think it is such a cute picture, she has long skinny legs like my Jayce.

What a cute profile! Jayce's profile picture is below and I think they look alike already. Who knows, maybe she will have green eyes.
